The Lone Ranger™ Event

The Lone Ranger and his faithful companion Tonto save the train from bandits! This hour and twenty minute excursion features a train robbery and gunfight, the Lone Ranger gives a silver bullet to each child, plus there are western themed activities and entertainment around the depot. This wild west event kicks off the Lone Ranger’s saving the Tuckasegee River Excursions from bandits on certain days in June, July and August. See ad on page?.

Day Out With Thomas™

October Leaf Season

Western North Carolina mountains are ablaze with brilliant fall foliage. View these spectacular fall leaves from the train – Nantahala Gorge Excursions depart at 10:30 am until Oct. 8th, when trains depart at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm daily. Tuckasegee River Excursions depart at 12:00 pm from October 4-7, 11-14, 18-21 and 25-29.

New Year’s Eve Gala
