Dinner Train Tribute to Elvis

Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is excited bring you our new Dinner Train; Tribute to Elvis!  

Partnering together with Communities in Schools, we are happy to participate in the upcoming Elvis themed dinner train. All proceeds from this special train will be going to support Communities in Schools of the Great Smoky Mountains. Have a wonderful evening and give back to a great cause! 

Communities in Schools of the Great Smoky Mountains is a newly formed affiliate of Communities In Schools of North Carolina.  The mission of Communities in Schools (CIS) is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.  CIS is the leading dropout prevention organization in the County, and the only such organization that is proven to decrease the dropout rate and increase on-time graduation rates. Students that have Communities In Schools support have almost a 98% chance of staying in school.

Communities In Schools of The Great Smoky Mountains, brings together all sectors of the community from businesses and other nonprofits to government agencies and faith based organizations to make sure students are graduating on time, prepared for college, career and life!
