It's Pioneer Weekend!

Hitch up the wagons and HEAD WEST! Enjoy an exciting weekend full of old fashioned fun! Join the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad for Pioneer Weekend!

This special event train departs from the historic Bryson City depot June 9 &10 leaving at 1pm. Travel along the Tuckasegee River to Dillsboro for a 2 hour layover on Saturday and 1.5 hour layover on Sunday. Enjoy special presentations and old style demonstrations of a true pioneer camp presented by noted story tellers and reinactors of the time period! 

Standard coach class adult tickets are $49 and children 2 and up are $29, 23 months and younger ride complimentary! Upgrade to Crown Class Seating, Adults $66, Child (2-12) $38 and Infant (23 months and under) $10.
