Schools and Registered Scout Groups

Thank you for your interest in the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad.Schools and Registered Scout groups, Kindergarten through High School can ride our Nantahala Gorge or Tuckasegee River excursion for the reduced rate of $13.00 per student! All other passengers 24months and older, booked as one with the group, can also ride at a reduced rate of $22.00 each. All excursions depart from the historic Bryson City depot on Everett St, and are round trip. We have knowledgeable staff dedicated to helping you with your reservation.
