If you need additional information, we have staff dedicated to tailoring a train adventure for your group. Please call 1-800-872-4681 ext. 7021 and speak with a Group Reservationist and make your plans for a step back in time on board the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Groups of 20 or more passengers can enjoy a variety of excursions on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Groups can select from climate controlled Club* or Crown Coach, Standard Coach or Open Air Cars.
*Groups consisting of passengers 21 years of age or over can charter a Club Car for a first-class travel experience. Offering seating with cushioned, deluxe seating, these elegantly appointed coaches give groups a chance to feel truly special. Charter prices vary depending on the trip & season. Private coach attendant accompanies the group. Passengers on the Club Car enjoy complimentary light-fare snacks and beverages. The morning train includes breakfast Danish, fruit, coffee & Coca-Cola products on the outbound portion of the excursion. The return trip includes cheese & crackers, Coco-Cola products and a champagne or sparkling cider toast. Cocktail, beer and wine service is also available for purchase.
We are conveniently located just three hours from Atlanta, two hours from Knoxville and Gatlinburg, one hour from Asheville (home of the historic Biltmore Estate) and right in the middle of some of the best rafting and outdoor adventure in the country. The south side of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just a short scenic drive from the railroad and the Cherokee Indian Reservation & Harrah's Cherokee Casino are located just 15 minutes away.
