Take a ride along side the beautiful Nantahala River on our Nantahala Gorge Excursion! Departing from Bryson City, this four-and-a-half hour excursion carries you 44 miles to the Nantahala Gorge and back again. Enjoy Bluegrass music and Appalachian stories while traveling along the Tennessee and Nantahala Rivers.  The historic Trellis Bridge takes you across Fontana Lake and into the beautiful Nantahala Gorge. Arrive at the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) for a one-hour layover where you can relax by the river or enjoy sight-seeing. 2013 Schedule

 

 

 

 

 

Join us for a relaxing ride through quiet country-side on your way to small town life in WNC on the Tuckasegee River Excursion. Departing from Bryson City, this four hour excursion travels 32 miles round-trip to Dillsboro and back again. Pass by the infamous movie set of The Fugitive starring Harrison Ford!The trip includes an hour-and-a-half layover in the historic town of Dillsboro, where you’ll find more than fifty shops, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and country Inns. There is time to shop, snack, and visit the many unique shops before returning to Bryson City. The Lone Ranger will appear on the train on select days in June, July, and August.
